Add Creative Spark to your Classroom with Some Free, Easy-to-Use Internet Tools

Big Huge Labs is an Internet site which allows you to create some fun, creative projects using digital photos. Products such as Motivational Poster, Mosaic Maker, Jigsaw, Badge Maker, Trading Cards, Cube, and so many more. We will explore the site, create some of the projects, and brainstorm on uses in the classroom. Can be used for teacher materials or let the students explore ways to use this site for creative projects.

Scrapblog is a very easy and fun way to share and print your photos. With Scrapblog, you can create beautiful and completely one-of-a-kind layouts, share them, and print high-quality photobooks, greeting cards or postcards. Scrapblog is a way to add creativity to your images/presentations for teacher/student projects. You can add images, text, video, background, and music.

Smilebox is a photo service that lets you quickly turn life's moments into digital creations you can share with others or save for yourself. Choose from hundreds of ecard, scrapbooking, and slideshow designs for every occasion. Personalize and share your Smilebox creation for free, or select premium options for print, DVD burning, expanded music choices, and no advertisements. You can choose to create a scrapbook; make a personal ecard using your photos, videos, music and message; create a slideshow; make a photo album. Once you are finished with your creation, you can email it, post or blog it, burn it to DVD, or print any page.

An online notice board maker. It gives you a virtual space where you can post short text notes in the same way that you could put post-it notes onto a notice board in your classroom. But this notice board can be shared between people all over the world. As well as text notes you can add images, video, and links to other websites.
You have the ability to approve every post BEFORE it shows up on the wall.

It is a neat way of getting a shared space to collect ideas from people for a brainsotrm; post resources for a topic; scratch pad for students research; a way to build story openings; students post questions about a topic. Students could ask questions about a topic which you (or each other) can then answer. Scratch pad for students researching. Build story openings. Collaborate on a topic. Additionally, you can embed the Wall Wisher Notice Board into your blog, wiki, or website.
